The Radiology Department at Piedmont Newnan Hospital remains at the forefront of technology.
At Piedmont Newnan Hospital, we offer imaging and diagnostic services through the Radiology Department, Laboratory and Cardio-Pulmonary Department. From a simple, single view xray, to the latest in Positron Emission Tomography (PET Scan), Newnan Hospital offers state-of-the-art imaging services. More than 68,000 exams a year are completed by our technologists, who are all registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies. We strive to provide quality care in a friendly environment and work closely with the attending physicians to provide needed assistance with procedures, policies and exams.

Laboratory Services
Piedmont Newnan Hospital's Laboratory, which is CAP accredited, has the latest state-of-the-art equipment with the capacity to perform a full range of tests while maintaining a short turnaround time for our customers. Comprehensive service is provided in the areas of Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Blood Bank and Pathology.
The Lab includes an in-house blood drawing station that is open seven days a week.

Cardiac Catheterization
Our newly constructed in-house Cardiac Catheterization Lab allows us to provide critical diagnostic services to help detect coronary artery disease. During a cardiac catheterization procedure, physicians view your heart at work and are able to pinpoint areas of concern.
